Miss Malaysia Universe 1978 is the 14th edition of the Miss Universe Malaysia pageant which was held at the Merlin Hotel, Penang on May 18, 1978 where the reigning winner Leong Li Ping of Perak crowned her successor Yasmin Yusoff from Kuala Lumpur at the end of the event. Yasmin later went on to represent Malaysia in Miss Universe 1978 in Mexico City.[1]
