19,20-Dihydroervahanine A is an alkaloid, a natural product which is found in the root of the South-East Asian plant Tabernaemontana divaricata.[1]

It acts as a potent acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, thus could be beneficial for dementia and Alzheimer's disease. It is a reversible inhibitor with more inhibitory activity than a well known drug galantamine.[2]
