Legia Warsaw II is the reserve team of the Ekstraklasa club Legia Warsaw that plays in the III Liga, the fourth tier of Polish football.[1][2]

History

The team was established in the 1920s. The program was restarted after World War II in 1948.

In 1952, the club surprisingly reached the final of the Polish Cup beating: Lechia II Zielona Góra (6:2), Naprzód Lipiny (2:1), ŁKS Łódź (7:1), Górnik Zabrze (2:1), Ruch Chorzów (2:1) and Wisła Kraków (0:0 and 1:0). In the final Legia lost 0:1 against Polonia Warsaw.
