Gunwi O clan (Korean군위 오씨; Hanja軍威 吳氏) was one of the Korean clans. Their Bon-gwan was in Gunwi County, North Gyeongsang Province. According to the research in 2015, the number of Gunwi O clan was 26949. Their founder was O Suk gwi [ja]. O Suk gwi [ja] was a son of O Hyeon jwa [ja] who was a founder of Dongbog O clan. O Hyeon jwa [ja] was a descendant of O Cheom (Hanja: 吳瞻) who came over from China to Silla during Jijeung of Silla’s reign in Silla dynasty.[1]
