Nivetha Pethuraj is an Indian film actress, and model who appears primarily in Tamil and Telugu films. She made her acting debut with Oru Naal Koothu (2016). She was born in a Tamil family and raised in Dubai.[2]

Early life

Nivetha Pethuraj was born in Madurai to Tamil parents.[3][4] Immediately after her birth, she moved to Thoothukudi, where she did her early schooling.[5]

At the age of 11, she left the country for Dubai, UAE along with her parents and studied in Crescent english high school.[6][3] She has lived in Dubai for about 10 years.[6][7][8] [9]

In 2015, she won the Miss India UAE pageant.[10]

Career

Nivetha made her acting debut in the Tamil drama, Oru Naal Koothu (2016). Her subsequent releases include Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam (2017) and the space fiction thriller Tik Tik Tik, which earned her critical acclaim.[11][12]

In 2019, she signed major Tamil movie starring Vijay Sethupathi directed by Vijay Chander.[13]
