Musong Yu clan (Korean무송 유씨; Hanja茂松 庾氏) is one of the Korean clans. Their Bon-gwan is in Gochang County, North Jeolla Province. According to the research held in 2000, the number of Musong Yu clan's member was 12464. Yu clan was Chinese origin. Their founder was Yu Geum pil [ko] who became Goryeo Dynasty minister after supporting Taejo of Goryeo and making an achievement in unification of the three Koreas. His ancestor was Yu Geum pil [ko] who was naturalized in Korea from Eastern Jin dynasty at the beginning of Goguryeo.[1][2]
