Igor Kalinin (born 28 December 1959, Rayovo village, Mytishchi district, Moscow region, Russia, now part of Moscow) - Former Advisor to the President of Ukraine (2013–2014).
Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine (2012[1]-2013[2]), former KGB officer of the USSR. Colonel General (2012).
On March 5, Council of the European Union approved a blockade of funds expelled by the Verkhovna Rada from the post of President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, his sons Olexandr and Victor, ex-Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and his son Olexiy, brothers Andriy and Serhiy Klyuyev, ex-Prosecutor General Prosecutor Viktor Pshonka, businessman Serhiy Kurchenko - a total of 17 former government officials and those close to ex-president Yanukovych who are suspected of misusing budget funds. Yanukovych's ex-adviser Igor Kalinin was also included in this list.[3]
