Elling is a village with a population of 1,178 (1 January 2020)[1] in the Vendsyssel region, North Jutland, Denmark, located in Elling Parish outside of Frederikshavn.[2][3]

Nearby is Elling Å,[4] a stream whose estuary hosts nearly extinct marsh fritillary butterflies.[2]

Its 13th-century church is especially notable.[5]

In 1938, a naturally mummified human body was found in a bog near Elling, dubbed Elling Woman.[6]
