Ardozyga taracta is a species of moth in the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Turner in 1919. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland.[1]
The wingspan is 12–14 mm (0.47–0.55 in). The forewings are dark-brown with fuscous, very obscure markings. There is an irregular angulated blotch at one-third comprising the first discal and plical, a dot above the middle, and two dots placed transversely at two-thirds. Several dots are found on the costa towards the apex. The hindwings are pale-grey, becoming whitish towards the base.[2]
