Final Wonderland (Chinese: 夢綺地) is the fifth greatest hits album by Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai. It was released on September 19, 2007, by Sony BMG Taiwan.[1] The album contains 40 songs and 22 music videos previously released by Sony, and 2 remixed medleys.[2]
The album peaked at number five on the weekly record chart of Five Music and number eighteen on the chart of G-Music in Taiwan.[3][4]。
Background and release
On July 23, 2002, Tsai signed a recording deal with Sony Music Taiwan,[5] and she released a series of studio albums Magic (2003), Castle (2004), and J-Game (2005). The three albums achieved great commercial success, they have sold more than 360,000, 300,000, and 260,000 copies in Taiwan respectively, and each became the best-selling album by a female artist of the year in the region.[6][7] On February 16, 2006, Tsai signed a deal with Capital Music Taiwan,[8] then Sony released a greatest hits album titled J-Top (2006).[9] On September 19, 2007, Sony released another greatest hits album right before Tsai releasing her ninth studio album Agent J (2007), and the compilation includes Tsai's 40 songs and 22 music videos previously released by Sony, and 2 newly remixed medleys.[10] In the first week after release, the album debuted at number nine and number eighteen on the weekly record charts of Five Music and G-Music in Taiwan.[11][12] On April 3, 2009, the album reached number five on the weekly chart of Five Music.[13]
