IJzendoorn, church

IJzendoorn is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Neder-Betuwe, and lies about 8 km east of Tiel.

IJzendoorn was a separate municipality between 1818 and 1923, when it was merged with Echteld.[1]

In 2001, the village of IJzendoorn had 692 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.13 km², and contained 248 residences.[2] The statistical area "IJzendoorn", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1000.[3]
