Pat McCarthy is an American politician from the state of Washington. She is the Washington State Auditor. McCarthy previously served as school board director for the Tacoma School District (1987–1999)[1] and as the County Executive for Pierce County, Washington.[2][3]

Personal life

Her husband, John, has served on the Port of Tacoma commission and as a judge of the Pierce County Superior Court. Their son, Conor, serves on the Tacoma City Council.[4]
