Alexandru "Sandu" Boc (born 3 June 1946) is a retired Romanian footballer, who played as a defender and won two Liga I titles. He was also an occasional film actor, playing alongside great Romanian actors like Toma Caragiu and Gheorghe Dinică in the 1975 comedy movie Nu filmăm să ne-amuzăm (We do not film to amuse ourselves) directed by Iulian Mihu.[1] Until 28 November 2013, he was the vice president of the Professional Football League of Romania.[2]

In 1969, he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for having beaten a Securitate officer at a bar.[3] He served one year and a month.[3]
