The REA (Association for Renewable Energy and Clean Technology) is a trade association for the (overall) renewables industry in the United Kingdom. The REA covers renewable power, heat, and transport.[1] The REA is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. The REA is primarily funded from member subscriptions.[2]

History

REA was established in 2001 as a not-for-profit trade association, representing British renewable energy producers and promoting the use of renewable energy in the UK.
