Garthorpe is a village and civil parish (called Garthorpe and Fockerby) in Leicestershire, England, in the Melton district. It is about five miles east of Melton Mowbray. The parish includes the villages of Garthorpe and Coston, and is near Saxby (in Freeby parish), Wymondham, Buckminster and Sproxton.The parish has a population of about 100.[1]

The civil parish had a population of 418 at the 2011 census.[2]

St Mary's Church is a redundant Church of England parish church in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.[3] The building is Grade I listed.[4]
