Major General Md. Main Ullah Chowdhury, OSP, awc, psc is a two star commissioned flag officer in the Regiment of Infantry.[1] As Major General he is the present GOC of 10th Infantry Division of Bangladesh Army. He served as Commandant of the Bangladesh Military Academy and also the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 7th Infantry Division.[2][3]
Education
Major General Md. Main Ullah Chowdhury received an undergraduate degree from Defence Services Command and Staff College, an graduate degree from United States Army War College and an undergraduate degree from Bangladesh National University.
Military Career
Major General Md. Main Ullah Chowdhury was commissioned into Bangladeh Army as an officer with 17th BMA Long Course.[4][5] He held staff positions in the field and at headquarters.At present he is the GOC of 10th Infantry Division. He had been the commandant of Bangladesh Military Academy. He also served as the GOC of 7th Infantry Division.[6][7][8][9][10]
