The Human Voice is an upcoming Spanish-American short drama film written and directed by Pedro Almodóvar, based upon the play of the same name by Jean Cocteau. It stars Tilda Swinton.
It will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September 2020.
Cast
Production
In February 2020, it was announced Tilda Swinton had joined the cast of the film, with Pedro Almodóvar directing from a screenplay he wrote based upon play of the same name by Jean Cocteau.[2]
Principal photography was set to begin in April 2020, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3][4] Principal photography began on 16 July 2020.[5] Production concluded on 27 July 2020.[6]
Release
The film will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September 2020.[7]
