Süleymaniye, Akseki is a village in the District of Akseki, Antalya Province, Turkey. [2]
Its old name is Simyan and it is one of the oldest settlements in the area where it is located. It is 42 km from Akseki and 38 km from Seydişehir.
The Hadım Plateau, to the north, is one of the most beautiful plateau of the Akseki district with spring waters, lush green grass and clover.
History
The area was conquered by the Seljuk Turks and the Ottoman Empire along with other towns in the area in the 1600s.
Economy
The village has a primary school, that has closed but the town has a drinking water network and a health center with a midwife,access is via an asphalt road and the town has electricity and fixed telephones.
The country boasts an economy based on the cattle and almond trade.
