May Simón Lifschitz

May Simón Lifschitz is an actor and transgender model from Argentina.[1] She is known for Netflix's Warrior Nun, in which she played Chanel,[2] and Danish productions Wild Witch, Yes No Maybe, and Christian IV.[1]

Career

Lifschitz began her career as a model at 16. She worked in campaigns for Adidas and became the second transgender model to work in a Victoria's Secret campaign, after Valentina Sampaio.[1][3]

She has been acting since at least 2015.[4] Show writer David Hayter told a fan that Lifschitz was pleased that the Warrior Nun script was the first to not mention the fact that she is transgender.[4]

Personal life

Lifschitz was born in Corrientes, Argentina[5] and grew up in Denmark.[1] Her mother is Danish and her father is Argentinian, and she holds Danish nationality.[4]
