Carlos J. Moreno

Carlos Julio Moreno is a Colombian mathematician and faculty member at Baruch College and at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY).

Moreno has over sixty publications under his name, including two books, on topics dealing with algebra and number theory. His mathematics research, funded by several National Science Foundation grants, has earned him a reputation as a world-class mathematician.[citation needed] At CUNY, he has extensively served as graduate thesis adviser to graduate students. His B.A. and his Ph.D. in mathematics were earned at New York University.
