Pool Bunny is the 12th short in the animated web series Looney Tunes Cartoons and the 5th short produced for the series.
Plot
The short starts with Bugs visiting the desert in a middle of a heatwave, sweating. Suddenly he discovers a pool in the distance along with a bijou, and he assumes the owner doesn't have a problem with the local wildlife entering his pool, which he does. Elmer begins to take a dip, but before that would happen, Bugs jumps in the pool, leaving Elmer angry. As soon as he does a backstroke, Elmer scoops him out with a fish net, and slings him away with it like a slingshot. Bugs says in response after being slingshoted, "Of course you realize this means... y'know.", and goes to the water supply house. He pulls the lever and Elmer bumps his head on the pool concrete, and Bugs slingshots him in his bijou with a water pipe, leaving his house flooded. After this Bugs tricks Elmer with multiple traps, and pretending to be a lifeguard and tricking him with a buddy, which in reality is a bunch of explosives. At the end, after Elmer chops him down from the lifeguard chair, he pretends to sink and nearly die, and he asks him to call his wife, which he does, and Bugs calls her and says "Hi ya honey, come on over, and bring the kids!". Suddenly, his 57 rabbit children hop over Elmer's fence, leaving him paranoid, and he ends up swimming in an inflatable kiddie pool, with him scooping the water on himself. [1]
