Seetha Kalyanam, സീതാകല്യാണം (Seetha and Kalyan) is an Indian Malayalam television series premiered on Asianet channel on 10 September 2018. Malayalam film actress Dhanya Mary Varghese plays the titular role in the show.[2]

The show is the official remake of Telugu soap opera Lakshmi Kalyanam which aired on Star Maa.[3] It replaced Parasparam, the longest running serial in Malayalam, which completed 1524 Episodes.

Plot

Seetha is a maternal figure to her younger sister, Swathy, and endures all difficulties laid down by Rajeshwari to protect her sister from sorrow. Seetha and Rajeswary who is a millionaire became enemies at their first meeting itself and that day onward Rajeswary's aims to defeat and destroy Seetha. Rajeswary used dirty tricks to make seeta jobless and succeeded . At that time Seetha's sister Swathi gets pregnant by Ajay, the youngest son of Rajeswary as they are in serious relationship. Meanwhike Kalyan, the elder son falls for Seetha.[4]
