Azat Khodzhageldyyevich Bairyyev (Russian: Азат Ходжагельдыевич Байрыев; born 17 February 1989) is a Russian football player who plays for FC Rotor Volgograd. He is of Turkmen descent.[1]

Club career

He made his debut in the Russian Premier League for FC Kuban Krasnodar on 14 March 2009 in a game against FC Rubin Kazan.[2]

While with FC Rotor Volgograd, Bairyyev was voted the second-best FNL player for the month of November 2019, after amassing the greatest number of duels won and scoring the game-winning goal in the last match of the month.[3]
