Nové Strašecí is a town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 5,600 inhabitants. It is located about 35 km from Prague.
Transport
The town is located on a train line leading from Prague to Kladno and Rakovník. There is a train station which is served by regional trains.
