Simone McKinnis

Simone McKinnis is the coach of the Melbourne Vixens.[1]

McKinnis played netball with the Australian National team, in the wing defense position from 1986 to 1998. She played 63 tests with the Australia National team. She was a member of the world championship winning teams of 1991 and 1995, and the Commonwealth games gold medal winning team in 1998.[2] Since retiring, McKinnis has had a number of coaching roles both in Australia and overseas. She was named the Coach of the Year for her managing performance at the Melbourne Vixens in 2017.[3]
