"Freedom" is a song by Swiss artist DJ BoBo. The single was released in 1995 as the fourth and last single from his second album, There Is a Party. It reached number 4 in Switzerland, number 7 in Austria and Finland, and number 8 in Germany. On the Eurochart Hot 100, the song peaked at number 15 in November 1995. Outside Europe, "Freedom" peaked at number 93 in Australia. The female singers are Natascha Wright and Lisa Noya The female powervoice on a.o. Life and Rock my heart from Haddaway. Which songs were produced by the same producers that produced Freedom; Alex Trime and Sven Delgado. The single sold to Gold in Germany.[1]

Critical reception

Music & Media praised the song for its "catchy chorus and (...) instantly recognizable melody".[2]

Music video

The music video for "Freedom" was directed by Frank Paul Husmann-Labusga.[3] Husmann-Labusga also directed the music videos for "Let the Dream Come True" and "There Is a Party".
