The Star Flyer is a steel inverted roller coaster located in Star City in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. This is the first inverted roller coaster ride in the Philippines.[1]

Ride elements

Ride layout

The ride layout includes a curving first drop into a two inversion roll over element and the inversions, the trains run through two helix-like turns before returning to the station. It has 3 trains with 5 cars per train. Riders are arranged 2 across in a single row for a total of 10 riders per train.[2]

Incidents

In 2009, a man died after falling from the ride. A witness said the man body hit the metal framing of the ride before finally falling to the ground.[3] The Star Flyer is among the few rides which survived a fire on October 2, 2019 which destroyed most of the amusement park.[4]
