Gonville is a residential suburb of Whanganui, New Zealand. It is under the local governance of the Whanganui District Council.[1]

Pakaitore Marae and meeting house is located in Gonville.[2] It is the tribal meeting ground of the Ngāti Hauā hapū (subtribe) of Ngāti Hāua.[3]

Education

Gonville School is a co-educational state primary school for Year 1 to 6 students,[4][5] with a roll of 172 as of February 2024.[6]

Arahunga School is a co-educational state primary school,[7][8] with a roll of 92.[9]

St Anthony's School is a private primary school,[10] with a roll of 95.[11]

St. Dominic's College is a private secondary school,[12] with a roll of 59.[13]
