Grais is a monotypic skipper butterfly genus in the family Hesperiidae. The genus was erected by Frederick DuCane Godman and Osbert Salvin in 1894. Its only species, Grais stigmaticus, the hermit skipper, was first described by Paul Mabille in 1883. It is known from the US state of Texas to Argentina and on Jamaica.[1]
