Mohammad Karim Pirnia (Persian: محمد کریم پیرنیا, 16 September 1920 – 31 August 1997[1]) was a prominent architectural historian and architect.

Born in Yazd, Iran, he studied at what came to be Tehran University School of Fine Arts.

His textbook on the history of Iranian architecture is still used in universities across Iran.
