Nurse Jackie, an American medical comedy-drama series created by Evan Dunsky, Liz Brixius, and Linda Wallem, premiered on Showtime on June 8, 2009.[1] The series stars Edie Falco as title character Jackie Peyton, a nurse addicted to painkillers while working in the emergency ward at All Saints' Hospital in New York City. The series concluded on June 28, 2015, after 80 episodes over seven seasons.

Final episode in the series. Jackie is surprised by the return of Dr. O'Hara, as Jackie is expecting a job from Bellevue Hospital. Meanwhile, All Saints begins wrapping up its work on its final day. Jackie gets the job and asks Zoey to come with her. O'Hara begins to suspect that Jackie is using again. Elsewhere, Eddie is caught on tape drug dealing from Dr. Wu's pill mill. Eddie reveals to Jackie that their wedding has to be postponed because Eddie has to do one year in prison. Zoey turns down Jackie's offer. For its final night, the hospital throws a goodbye party. Jackie goes to the bathroom and snorts three lines of street-grade heroin that she found in a patient's bag. Jackie overdoses on the drugs on the hospital floor as her fate is left ambiguous.
