Wei Bao (魏豹) was a member of the Imperial Clan in China during the late Warring periods. He was the younger brother of Wei Jiu.[citation needed]

Life

Wei Bao was the descendant of King Wen of Zhou, but took his surname from his grandfather.

Along with his brother, Wei Jiu, he joined Chen Sheng, the leader of the rebels when the rebellions against the Qin Dynasty started. He was soon given the position of King of Wei by Chen Sheng.[citation needed]

His wife was re-married with Liu Bang. Her son was Liu Heng or Emperor Wen of Han.
