Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) established in 1998 is a private, autonomous, self-financing, co-educational institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to the Anna University.[1] The college is located on the Coimbatore - Dindukal National Highway (NH-209) in 33 acres of land at Pollachi taluk. The founder of the college is N._Mahalingam who served as the member of legislative assembly for three terms from 1952-67, representing Pollachi for Congress.
