Needle in a Timestack is an upcoming science fiction film written and directed by John Ridley. It is based on the short story by Robert Silverberg.

Premise

A marriage is challenged when a time traveler gets involved in their lives.

It was announced in April 2017 that John Ridley would write and direct the project, with Miramax set to distribute.[1] Miramax was no longer involved in the project by June 2018, with Bron Studios taking the project over. Leslie Odom Jr., Freida Pinto, Cynthia Erivo, Orlando Bloom and Jadyn Wong were cast that same month.[2][3]

Filming began in Vancouver on June 18, 2018, and ended on July 24, 2018.[4]
