Ulla Hansen is a professor of biology and Director, Program in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry at Boston University.[1]

Biography

Hansen received a Ph.D from Harvard University in 1980. Her specialty is the mammalian cell cycle, in particular the role of transcription factors. She has concentrated on the LSF transcription factor, which is involved in oncogenesis. Hansen coauthored several heavily cited papers, including the review article "Active repression mechanisms of eukaryotic transcription repressors"[2][3][4] in Trends in Genetics.
