Torkman Valley or (Dare-ye Torkman, Template:Lang-prs; Template:Lang-haz) is a valley in Afghanistan located in Surkhi Parsa District of Parwan Province which is inhabited with Hazara people. They speak the Hazaragi dialect of Persian language.[1][2]
Etymology
The name of this valley is derived from the Turkmani, one of the tribes of the Hazara people.[3]
Demographics
The Turkman valley is generally been populated by Hazaras.[3]
History
The Turkman Valley located in Parwan Province was founded by four brothers Mansoor, Shehr, Allahdad and Kheider.[citation needed]
