Pipedrive is a cloud-based sales software company with offices located in Tallinn and Tartu, Estonia; New York City, New York; St. Petersburg, Florida; Lisbon, Portugal, London, United Kingdom and Prague, Czech Republic. It is the developer of the web application and mobile app Pipedrive, a sales customer relationship management (CRM) tool for salespeople who require simplified sales management and automation. The company has more than 500 employees, and its CRM is used by approximately 90,000 customers around the world.[1] [2] Pipedrive aims to improve the productivity of businesses through the use of its CRM software.

History

Pipedrive was founded on June 21, 2010 [3] by Timo Rein, Urmas Purde, Ragnar Sass, Martin Tajur and Martin Henk. In 2016, Timo Rein and Dominic Butera became the company’s co-chief executive officers (CEO). In 2011, Pipedrive joined AngelPad.[4] It was the only European startup of the 15 teams the accelerator hosted.[5] In June 2018, the company launched Pipedrive for Financial Services, intended to optimize financial sales activities.[6] As of 2019, Pipedrive has raised a total of $91.2 million in venture funding from Atomico, Bessemer Venture Partners, Paua Ventures, Rembrandt Venture Partners and others.[7][8][9][10][11][12]
