The New South Wales Minister for Energy and Environment is a minister in the New South Wales Government with responsibilities for matters relating to resources, energy, utilities, and the environment and conservation in the state of New South Wales, Australia.[1]
The current minister, since 2 April 2019, is Matt Kean.[2] The minister manages the portfolio through the Planning and Industry cluster, in particular the Department of Planning and Industry and a range of other government agencies.[3]
Ultimately the minister is responsible to the Parliament of New South Wales.
