The Grand Socco Alto Mall is a large Shopping Mall in Tangier, Morocco. The term, socco is a Spanish corruption of the Arabic souq (or souk). The Grand Socco Alto Mall and Carrefour Socco occupy Tangier's medina (old quarter) and continues to operate as a bazaar or market-place.
