Spencer Henry Crawley (born 5 August 1987) is co-founder and General Partner at firstminute capital, a venture capital firm based in London.

Crawley sits on the board of Generation Home and Frontier, a US-based platform connecting work-at-home jobseekers with employment opportunities. Crawley co-founded firstminute with Brent Hoberman CBE, who in turn had co-founded lastminute.com with Martha Lane-Fox, which went public in 2000 and was acquired by Sabre for $1.1bn in 2005.[citation needed]

Spencer started his career at Goldman Sachs in Moscow in the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities division, before becoming the first hire at DMC Partners, a Special Opportunities fund spun out of Goldman Sachs.[1] The firm was founded by Goldman Sach's Global Co-Head of Trading & Securities, the Global Co-Head of Strategies & Structuring, and the CEO of the Russia & CIS business, alongside the former Head of TPG of Europe and CFO of Index Ventures. This was followed by an MBA at INSEAD, and a stint in the Munich office of AppDirect, the cloud commerce platform-provider.[citation needed]

Spencer studied History at Exeter College, Oxford, where he received the Waugh scholarship, and speaks fluent Russian. [citation needed]
