List of U.S. cities by number of professional sports championships
This is a list of cities in the United States that field or have fielded teams in North American men's professional sports leagues, showing the number of league championships each city has won. The leagues listed consist of Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, Major League Soccer and the National Hockey League.
These numbers are for cities and metropolitan areas, not individual franchises: where a team has moved to a new city, the number of championships in the old city remains the same. For example, the Nationals' NBA championship is counted in Syracuse, where it was won, though the team later moved to Philadelphia and became the Philadelphia 76ers.
