A Very Very Very Dark Matter is an upcoming play by Martin McDonagh.

The play is set in a townhouse in Copenhagen and reveals the dark sources of the tales of children's author Hans Christian Andersen.

It is due to premiere at the Bridge Theatre in London from 19 October (previews from 10 October) to 29 December 2018, starring Jim Broadbent as Anderson. It is set to be directed by Matthew Dunster, designed by Anna Fleischle with lighting by Phillip Gladwell and sound by George Dennis.[1][2][3]
