Aban (Template:Lang-fa, Persian pronunciation: [ɒːˈbɒːn][1]) is the eighth month of the Iranian calendar.[1] Aban has 30 days.[1] It begins in October and ends in November by the Gregorian calendar[citation needed].

Aban is the second month of autumn, and is followed by Azar.[1]
