Abbotsford Senior Secondary is a public high school in Abbotsford, British Columbia part of School District 34 Abbotsford. The school name was changed over the summer of 2006 to Abbotsford Collegiate, as part of the school district merging Abbotsford Senior Secondary and the Career Technical Centre. The name was changed back to Abbotsford Senior Secondary School in 2012.

The original building had been in use since 1955 and had been taken down as the new building had gone beside it; completed in 2012, reusing only the main gymnasium.

Abbotsford Senior Secondary's International Baccalaureate program is a good way for students to attract the attention of post-secondary schools.

Abbotsford Senior Secondary's basketball program competes in AAA

In 2016 two girls were affected by a lockdown. These two girls (Whose parents want to keep it unpublicized) One has died in ICU the other was released afterward. A man with mental issues came in and stabbed the two girls repetitively. To a point of almost death. The trial date is still to be set.

Abbotsford Senior is one of thirteen schools in British Columbia offering the International Baccalaureate program.[2]
