Achanur is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Bagalkot taluk of Bagalkot district in Karnataka.

Achanur is around 20 Kilometers from Bagalkot Town. You have to travel around 18 km from Bagalkot towards Almatti and then take a deviation on the left from the Bagalkot-Almatti Road. Achanur is very famous for Vari Maruti i.e. Anjaneyaswamy Temple. People have a very strong belief and faith on GOD Shri Vari Maruti. They believe all there problems and issues will be solved if they come here and pray whole heartedly. This has been proven time and again, and all the devotees are blessed with good things if they come here and pray
