Adhwal
Appearance
Adhwal is a village near Rawalpindi, in the Punjab, Pakistan, located at 33° 19' 32" N, 72° 55' 20" E.
History
Prior to the Partition of India, Adhwal was inhabited by Sikhs. Gold was discovered near the village,[citation needed] but the village economy is still largely agricultural.
Language
Languages spoken in the village include Urdu, Punjabi and Potohari.[citation needed]
Source of income
This area is mainly agricultural. Production of Wheat is significant. Mainly, inhabitants of Adhwal rely on harvesting and agriculture is the only source through which they are living their lives. There are teachers as well in this village but mainly people are farmers.
Dress
The dress usually worn is Shalwar kameez, which is also the national dress of Pakistan.
