Aeronord was an airline based in Moldova, founded in 2006.[1]

On May 8, 2007 Civil Aviation Administration of the Republic of Moldova suspended the Air Operator Certificate issued for Aeronord due to a low level of flight safety and failure to comply with international safety requirements revealed by the inspectors.[2] In June 2007, it was announced that the Republic of Moldova has withdrawn the certificate of the airline as it was not subject to an appropriate safety oversight, and the European Commission's Air Safety Commission has in consequence banned the airline from flying within the European Union.[3]
