Agustín Vuletich (born November 3, 1991) is an Argentine football forward of Croatian descent who plays for Arsenal de Sarandí in the Argentine Primera División.
Personal life
Vuletich was born in Arias, Córdoba Province. He is an Argentinean citizen but is attempting to obtain a Croatian passport.[2][3]
Apart from his professional football career, he studies law in the University of Flores.[1][4]
Club career
Vuletich made his professional debut for Vélez Sársfield on March 27, 2011, entering the field on the 86th minute of a 3–0 win against Arsenal de Sarandí, for the 2011 Clausura.[5] With Santiago Silva banned and Guillermo Franco injured, he started and played 79 minutes in the 2–1 away victory over Olimpo, on April 2.[5] He scored his first professional goal on a 2–3 home defeat to Quilmes.[6]
During his first season with the team, he helped them win the 2011 Clausura tournament and reach the semi-finals of the 2011 Copa Libertadores.
Vuletich was loaned to AC Bellinzona on January 30, 2012.[7] He was loaned to Chilean side Cobresal in mid–2012. In January 2013, he was again loaned, now to San Marcos de Arica.
International career
On July 2011, Vuletich was selected to represent Argentina at the FIFA U-20 World Cup to be played in Colombia. He played two games in the competition, both coming on as a substitute: the first group stage game against Mexico (1–0 victory) and the quarter-finals against Portugal (0–0 on extra time, and 4–5 defeat on penalty shootout, where Vuletich scored his penalty).
