Aiga Station (相賀駅, Aiga-eki) is a railway station in Kihoku, Kitamuro District, Mie Prefecture, operated by Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central). The station is 116.6 rail kilometers from the terminus of the line at Kameyama Station.

History

Aiga Station opened on December 19, 1934 on the Japanese Government Railways (JGR) Kisei East Line. The JGR became the Japan National Railways (JNR) after World War 2, and the line was extended to Kuki Station by January 12, 1957. The line was renamed the Kisei Main Line on July 15, 1959. The station was absorbed into the JR Central network upon the privatization of the (JNR) on April 1, 1987. The station has been unattended since April 1, 2005.

Aiga Station has a two opposed side platforms connected to the station building by an overpass. The wooden station building dates from the original construction.
