The Akatsi South District is one of the 25 districts in the Volta Region of Ghana. Its capital and administrative centre is Akatsi.

History

The former Akatsi District was divided into the Akatsi North District and the Akatsi South District. Both districts were formally inaugurated on 28 June 2012 by then president John Atta Mills.[1]
